The Conference registrations will open from Thursday 21 September – from 4 pm and Conference Cocktail Party from 6 pm to 9 pm (free event for Attendess ) at Wrest Point Casino. Details will be provided in Program.
Friday 22 September – The Conference will officially open at 9.00 am by the Honourable Roger Haensch MP, Minister for Education, Children and Youth. Followed by Anne Hollonds commenced National Children’s Commissioner at 9.30am. Rosalie Martin will MC the National Conference.
Presentations will commence after morning tea with 4 different presentation streams throughout the day unless a keynote speaker is presenting. These presentations will continue to 5 pm with high calibre presentations and will include presentations from the E-Safety Commission, Madeleine West, and our own Tasmanian Commissioner for Children and Young People. The program on Friday will hear presentations from Chris Smith, Life Without Barriers, Key Assets, Berry Street, Oz Child, Foster Carers Association Victoria, Dr Julian Watchorn just to name a few.
Saturday program includes optional Yoga at 8am (in the Board Walk Room – Wrest Point Casino)
