I am pleased to announce that Greg Gebhart will be representing eSafety Commission at the National Conference in Hobart in September.

Greg is one of Australia’s leading online safety presenters, who has been at the forefront of technology and education change in Australia. He has a master’s degree in education and technology and a keen interest in innovative and emerging technology, emotional intelligence and leadership.

Greg has worked in education, corporate, consultancy and government. He has held senior positions, including Regional Manager for the Victorian Industry and Education Partnerships program and Chair of the Board for Adult Education in Gippsland.

When the internet emerged, Greg was involved in the development of the first internet safety program and resources in Australia. Since then, Greg has provided online safety presentations to more than 1.2 million participants at state, national and international events.

His role at eSafety involves working with young people, parents, education, corporate, wellbeing and support agencies, government organisations, community groups, sporting organisations and seniors.

Greg has been recognised for his achievements and passion for helping others. He has received a global achievement award through the International Society for Technology in Education and has been listed in a who’s who of people that have shaped Australia.
